From Kenya, and she answers the style clue with Capoeira: sweeping kicks, handstands and footwork that never settles. At 186 cm for 58 kg she is strikingly tall and light, with long pale hair and a white outfit.

Street Fighter's mixed martial arts specialist, an American who first appeared in 2021. At 185 cm and 90 kg he is built like a modern gym athlete, and he fights with straight, heavy punches rather than any ancient tradition.

Jamaica's kickboxing showman, in the roster since 1993 and the only Jamaican in the cast. He treats a fight like a performance, dancing between attacks, and at 184 cm and 92 kg he has the legs to cover ground fast.

Night in a grove of baobab trees: they stand in silhouette under an enormous moon, around a ruined stone arch. Torches and small fires dot the clearing, and shallow water mirrors the light in front of the stone floor.
